What goes on a 1701Q
- the year and quarter, and whether it’s an amended return
- the taxpayer’s TIN, RDO code, name, address and other details, and the spouse’s if applicable
- the tax rate chosen: graduated rates (with itemized or optional standard deduction) or the 8% option on gross sales or receipts
- the quarter’s sales or receipts, deductions and taxable income, cumulative for the year so far
- the tax due, credits such as the creditable tax withheld on BIR Form 2307, and the amount payable
- the signature of the taxpayer or authorized representative
Each client’s details, once
A 1701Q repeats the same personal details every quarter. Keep each client as a record with their TIN, RDO, name and address, and only the quarter’s figures change. Use the same record for their 2551Q or 2550Q, and fields with the same labels fill from what you’ve already entered.
The quarter’s figures in one import
Export each client’s figures for the quarter with one row per client, named as in BoltPDF, and import the CSV: it updates those clients’ records, and cells you leave blank keep what’s saved. Generate the batch and download every 1701Q in one ZIP. Check any one of them before you file.
