What goes on a 1601-C
- the month and year, and whether it’s an amended return
- the withholding agent’s TIN, RDO code, registered name, address and contact details
- total compensation paid, the non-taxable and exempt parts, taxable compensation, and the tax required to be withheld
- adjustments, previous filings, penalties and the total amount still due
- the signature of the taxpayer or authorized representative
Same client, new month
Most of a 1601-C is the same every month: the TIN, RDO, registered name and address. Keep them in the client’s record once, and each month only the amounts change. A value saved for one form also fills fields with the same label on the client’s other forms.
The whole client list on the 10th
When every employer client is due on the same day, import one CSV with a row per client, named as in BoltPDF, and the month’s totals. It updates those clients’ records, and cells you leave blank keep what’s saved. Generate the batch and download every 1601-C in one ZIP. Check any one of them before you file.
